Spent a good part of the day in the Midlands assessing a number of issues associated with the demolition of this historical gas holder. A number of the issues to be resolved include assessing the below-ground masonry retaining wall for an excavator surcharge load, reviewing the stability of the above-ground steel frame whilst it is being demolished and production of calculations to resolve a number of other issues related to the demolition works.
